For my golden* birthday, - 9th May - I wanted to celebrate on my blog! So here are some that I've read or heard...
Q: What gets wetter as it drys?
A: A towel.
Q: What stays in a corner but travels round the world?
A: A stamp.
Q: One night*, there was a party at a palace. There was a king, a queen, a jester, some guards servants, and no princess. The king died. Not of age and he didn't kill himself. The queen couldn't have killed him because she was being entertained by the jester, and it couldn't have been the guards because they were guarding the palace. Who killed him?
A: The KNIGHT.*
Q: When mother hubbard went to to the cupboard and saw it was bare, she said 7 letters. What were the 7 letters?
A: O, I, C, U, R, M, T.
Q: Once there lived a dinosaur, and it died. How did it die?
A: He got a sword and killed himself.
Q: What has T at the beginning, T at the end and has T in it?
A: A teapot.
Q: There were 2 sisters. they both give birth to each other everyday. Who are the 2 sisters?
A: Day & Night.
Q: There were 30 cows, and 28 sheep. How many didn't!?
A: 10 (28 = 20 ate)
*A golden birthday is when your age is the same number as your birthday. (I'm 9 - 9th May)
