Why I feel I love Disney more than a normal person would.

For a while I have felt the need to share what I think about Disney. Of course any normal little girl would fall in love with Cinderella or Tangled before they even finish the movie. And I wouldn't think that I am the biggest Disney fan in the world (although honestly speaking I wouldn't be surprised if I was told so). I know that many other people, girls and boys alike, have plenty of evidence that they have a larger obsession than I. However, even if I don't have 150 Mickey Mouse ears and every princesses' autograph at Disneyland (which, don't get me wrong, would be a dream come true), my obsession, especially as I am 12 years old, still manages to explode, especially from my drawings.
I understand that Disney does, in ways, have some faults, like how they buy loads of studios to claim them as their own and, in the past, Walt Disney had to file a case for copyright for his 1994 "The Lion King" because he used The Lion Sleeps Tonight without the original writer's permission but THAT'S NOT THE POINT. It doesn't take away from the fact that they make the most creative movies and the cringiest TV shows but they bring back so many memories. I love the way that they don't copy the original story altogether and they change it completely, but you can still tell that this is definitely a twist of the same story. Again, I, of course, am not the the only one who thinks this way. But I still think that the way I think of them is a little more unique than someone who thinks of their future slightly differently.
When I hopefully go to college, I'd like to study movie directing and animation. Whenever I watch any animated movie, Disney or not, I closely study the art and the design of the characters. I have seen the development of the characters, and how they change throughout the production of the movie. I find it amazing how the story is put together and they take parts of the original story to create another version entirely. Also how the art is made into such realistic characters from very basic outlines. I am thrilled by the detail and the time that is put into the production. Not to mention the creative hidden Mickeys, Pixar balls and easter eggs.
I don't want to be the kind of person who says iM vErY pAsSiOnAtE aBoUt tHis or DiSnEy iS mY eNtiRe LiFe and recall all those meaningless cheesy quotes. But I would call it a large a part of my life, not my entire life. It contributes to a large portion of my existence, so to speak. I have seen a large amount of their movies and remember quite a few of their TV shows, even though I wasn't one to watch them by myself as I was, grievously, "not part of that generation". But I remember a lot more than other people think that I would. How could I forget that episode of Hannah Montana sitting in our old living room when she meets the guy and is way too close to telling him her secret because she "loves him so much". How could I forget that heart-shattering moment when she takes her wig off and shows the rest of the world who she really is? I admit there are shows that I am definitely too young to remember, such as the Suite Life of Zach and Cody. But shows like Austin and Ally, Good Luck Charlie and Liv and Maddie are impossible to forget.

p.s. i practically have half (or more i haven't finished checking yet) of the Moana script at the back of my mind just by seeing the movie for a 2nd time so that just goes to show that I am unmistakably a diehard Disney nerd, especially for my favourite movies.
