Portrait of a Dragon (a school project)

If I were an artist I''d paint the portrait of a dragon.
To do a proper job I''d borrow colours from the world.
For his back, I''d use tidal waves of the darkest blue.
For spikes I''d use urchin thorns that would haunt you like a BOO.
For overlapping scales I''d borrow colours from glimmering anemones.
His spine would be as straight as a line and as wet soggy and blue as raindrops from the sky.
I''d carve his claws like great shark canines with moonlight, and create magical messages with starlight.
His tail would be a stream, reflecting the light of the moon, and would squirt water at any enemies who decided to attack.
For his head, the silk green seaweed and the purple night, too.
His eyes would glisten like diamonds under sand.
His wings would weep as he emerged out of the water.
But his breath may not be mild.
Red from octipi, orange from starfish, and yellow from a pufferfish.
